govroam: what could it mean for us?

A public sector answer to eduroam, the internet service we all know and (sometimes) love, is rapidly gaining traction in the UK. govroam follows the example of the Netherlands and Belgium, two of the earliest adopters of the service who now see full operation. I got in touch with the organisations behind govroam in Europe, and the team working to roll it out in the UK, to find out what the benefits are and what challenges they have faced.

A Kind Revolution: What do we know so far?

It’s only eight days to go until 12th May, the day Paul Weller’s latest studio album A Kind Revolution is released on Parlophone. And after three extremely positive reviews (five stars from Pat Gilbert in Mojo and 8/10s from John Lewis in Uncut and David Quantick in Classic Rock) it’s looking like a good one.
